Kylie Karam (she/her/hers) is a dancer and choreographer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She recently obtained a B.F.A. in Dance with a minor in Arts Entrepreneurship from Kent State University, graduating summa cum laude and a member of the Honors College. During her collegiate years, she was awarded the Xavier Atienza Scholarship, the Cowperthwaite Scholarship, and the G. Harry Wright Award in Dance by her dance faculty.

To supplement her studies, Kylie has participated in several intensive programs. These include the SALT Contemporary Dance’s LINK Festival, New Dialect Winter Intensive, BODYTRAFFIC Summer Program, Alonzo King LINES Ballet Summer Program, and Regional Dance America's National Choreography Intensive under the direction of Peter Chu. Additionally, she has had the great privilege of performing works by Brandon Lee Alley, Norbert De La Cruz III, Micaela Taylor, Rena Butler, Hope Boykin, Amy Hall Garner, Stefanie Batten Bland, Tiffany Rea-Fisher, Ray Mercer, Yoshito Sakuraba, Catherine Meredith, Morgan Walker, Mark Tomasic, Glauco Araujo, Heinz Poll, and Michael Uthoff. Kylie has also performed at various conferences and festivals, including APAP|NYC Conference, Detroit Dance City Festival, American Dance Guild Festival, American College Dance Association East-Central Conference, Cleveland Severance Hall Commemorative Concert, Midwest Dementia Summit, “Dancing Together” Mount Vernon Festival, and Cleveland Dance Fest.

This past summer, Kylie served as a Seasonal Company Member with The Movement Project. Additionally, she premiered bare, a self-choreographed solo, at the Cleveland Dance Fest in November.  Kylie is currently based in Cleveland, OH, where she is beginning her first season with the Dancing Wheels Company.
